About the Author
Christine Dzidrums holds a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from California State University, Fullerton. She has written biographies on many inspiring women: Joannie Rochette, Yuna Kim, Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, The Fierce Five, Gabby Douglas, Sutton Foster, Kelly Clarkson, Idina Menzel and Missy Franklin. Christine’s first novel, Cutters Don’t Cry, won a Moonbeam Children’s Book Award, as did her biography on Miss Douglas. This book is pretty much an unauthorized bio of stuff anyone could pull together from articles already published BUT... it was perfect for my 4th grader to read for her book of the month and bio report!

Missy is my idol and I were enjoyed reading the book. I hope to be just like Missy Franklin. The book also had a lot of information that is good for people doing a book report on. And keep swimming and never give up on your dreams just like Missy Franklin
