"This revised edition is appropriate for all students in the health sciences and distinguishes itself from other atlases with its excellent dissection photographs, overviews, and clinical correlations. Each chapter includes osteological and radiographic images associated with the area, which results in repetition of figures throughout the book. It would be better to combine the osteological and radiographic images at the end of the four major regional sections rather than repeating plates in multiple chapters. The chapter on the perineum (chapter 38), omitted a few structures. This is not equivalent to a comprehensive textbook, but it provides more information and clinical comments than other basic atlases. this book is fantastic. the illustrations are phenomenal and the text and descriptions are simple and easy to follow. My only anatomy class up until this point was one semester of basic anatomy in high school and atlas of clinical gross anatomy makes it seem like ive been studying it for years!
